tremendous potential to address their personal and work-related concerns. She is passionate about helping those she coaches to understand the dynamics of their situations, use their strengths to address their issues, and co-develop tools that will serve them today and well into the future.

Retirement coaching helps a
person explore non-financial aspects of retirement: purpose, identity, new activities, daily schedule, social connection and volunteering while encouraging continued learning, skills development
and personal growth.
The average short-term coaching engagement is 3 months, and the average long-term engagement is 15 months. The most beneficial practice is to commit to a block of 8 sessions, preferably once a week, then adding blocks as you go. This allows the best opportunity to develop our coach/participant relationship without undue pressure.

As they entered, I recognized her look: small and defeated. He looked exhausted and like he’d rather be anywhere else. Something was clearly going on with these two, and I was confident it would not be long before the cause of the turmoil was revealed. I smiled at her and said, “I’m glad you’re here! This is a safe, judgment-free space. I’m here with you, whatever happens!”
The rider took a deep, audible breath. Her horse whipped his head back toward her leg, presumably to hit a fly, but I wondered about his true motive. Together they turned towards the perimeter of the jumping arena and began. Before I was an accredited life coach, I spent twenty years as a horseback riding coach.
The first time working with any kind of coach can be disorienting. Stressful. Even a bit scary. It takes courage, time, and energy to build trust so you can be open about things you wish would just disappear or manifest on their own. That’s normal. Whether the focus is riding or life, a qualified coach will be expecting a wide range of feelings and responses.
"Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble."
You may recognize this Bible verse. It speaks to the strength, resilience, and effectiveness of teamwork.
